ACC has partnered with Food for the Hungry Canada in a remote village in Guatemala called Villa Hortencia II. For a number of years the Global Mission Team at ACC was searching and praying and asking questions about Global Mission and finding the right partner. In 2008 a small vision team from ACC traveled to Guatemala with Food for the Hungry to investigate a potential partnership. ACC has a deep commitment to long term relationships that will result in self-sustainable villages. We are committed to serving people and believe that is done best by equipping them to be able to serve themselves.

FH Canada shares the same conviction and in fact their model is to enter into 8-12 year partnerships with the goal of “graduating” communities at the end of that period of time.

Through child sponsorships, support of the local mission field staff and , prayer support, financial support and consistent mission experiences to Guatemala we believe that we can make a long-term, lifelong difference in the lives of the adults and kids that call Villa Hortencia II home!
